Thermoelectric cooling technology Koolatron coolers use solid state thermoelectric technology to cool without any ice. The thermoelectric module is the size of a matchbook and uses less power than a vehicle's tail light. This travel cooler can cool contents up to 40°F (22°C) below the surrounding temperature. This cooler can also be switched to Warming mode to warm contents up to 135°F (57°C). Warming mode is ideal for transporting warm take-out food or drinks, warming baby bottles or transporting a casserole for your next pot luck event. You can also use the optional Koolatron AC Adapter (sold separately) to plug this cooler into any 110V AC household outlet.
